“Kebina and Fernanda are filling critical roles in our agency, bringing diverse backgrounds and skillsets to continue providing optimal results for our clients,” says Peter Van Dyke, CEO of Van Dyke Horn. “What makes them an exceptional fit for Van Dyke Horn is their alignment with our agency values and culture, both exhibiting a deep commitment to diversity and to serving our community through our clients work as well as through their personal interests.”
Young Frazier joined Van Dyke Horn as an account executive in March 2020, bringing 20 years of experience in marketing and communications. Since joining the agency, she has supported key clients in the agency’s significant portfolio in the public and nonprofit sectors, including ACLU of Michigan, the City of Detroit, the Detroit Area Agency on Aging, the Strategic Neighborhood Fund, New Detroit, Inc., and United Way for Southeastern Michigan.
Before joining Van Dyke Horn, Young Frazier worked in communications and community relations for a Detroit-based fab lab, led the marketing and promotions department for Radio One, Inc.-Detroit, and served as the marketing director of the workforce development and continuing education division for Wayne County Community College District. A life-long Detroiter, Young Frazier is passionate about educational equity and entrepreneurship for Black students, women, and other communities of color.
Bottini Sinzato joined Van Dyke Horn as a junior account executive in September 2020. She is responsible for supporting the team in media relations and project management as well as graphic design and audio/visual production.
Prior to her role at Van Dyke Horn, Bottini Sinzato was the head of communications and graphic design for a startup boutique digital marketing company in Pontiac. She also developed and published the first magazine dedicated to the Brazilian community. During her college career, Bottini Sinzato demonstrated notable leadership skills and has been recognized for various scholarships and awards, including the Berg Muirhead Scholarship for Public Relations Student Advancement, developed by Van Dyke Horn’s co-owners Peter Van Dyke and Marilyn Horn in honor of the agency’s founders.
The addition of Young Frazier and Bottini Sinzato is an important step in Van Dyke Horn’s rapid growth since owners Van Dyke and Marilyn Horn acquired the company in 2016 from founders and Michigan communications legends Bob Berg and Georgella Muirhead. Van Dyke and Horn acquired the agency, formerly named Berg Muirhead and Associates, in 2016, and since then the company has more than doubled in size, opened a Lansing office, and tripled its revenue.
Van Dyke Horn serves approximately 50 clients annually across a broad spectrum of sectors, including automotive, government, energy, education, coalitions, hospitality, non-profits, foundations and associations, real estate development and utilities.
