Who We Are

Nat Synowiec

What do you do for Van Dyke Horn?

I work closely with clients in a variety of fields, from arts to automotive, and I also make sure our team’s virtual and in-person workspaces are functioning properly. I also run the agency’s internship program, recruiting and managing 10 student practitioners per year.

What are some highlights from your previous experience?

Prior to joining Van Dyke•Horn, I worked for Penguin Putnam Publishing, Merit Marketing Group, and Wayne State University’s Alumni Relations and Marketing & Communications Departments, garnering extensive editorial and writing experience, as well as familiarity with event planning, marketing and database management.

How do you support the community?

For over 20 years, I have been part of the senior leadership of the Mid-American Global Education Council, an educational non-profit that organizes international relations conferences for high-school students across the Midwest region and Canada.

One of your top career achievements:

I’m particularly proud of the work we’ve done with local artists, non-profits and entrepreneurs to tell their stories, and to elevate the work that they do every day to move our city and region forward.

Bachelor’s Degree in public relations from Wayne State University
