Who We Are

Anjelica Dudek

What do you do for Van Dyke Horn?

I work with clients who represent a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, utility and non-profit industries. Because I enjoy helping out, I’ve gained lots of experience in media relations, event management and other skills it takes to accomplish a successful public relations campaign! But my favorite is digital brand management in the form of front-end website assistance and digital ad work.

What are some highlights from your previous experience?

Before VDH, I wrote for The South End, Wayne State’s campus newspaper, and interned at Hour Detroit as the magazine’s first web intern. I also served as the digital content director for the Wayne State chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and as an event coordinator and social media manager for Wayne State’s Fashion Design and Merchandising Organization.

How do you support the community?

I help other family and friends with their businesses and pro-women causes. I’ve helped develop and promote my mom’s writing projects, including the children’s book, For the Love of Dirt. I’m also a PRSA Detroit member and Membership Mixer co-chair for the Association for Women in Communications Detroit Chapter.

One of your top career achievements:

One of my favorite achievements is my first national media hit with the Associated Press.

I received a Bachelor of Art in print/online journalism with a minor in public relations from Wayne State University.
